1848-59 Post Paid 1d orange-vermilion, earliest impression, pos.2, good to very large margins with rare negative « 3 » barred circle thought to be from Souillac (see note 1 on p.50 of Ibbotson’s « Mauritius Postal History and Stamps », some slight oxidising of the colour, very fine and rare (SG £18’000)
