1861 Woodblock 1d vermilion mint block of four with virtually full original gum, one side just cut into, some creases and minor toning, lovely fresh colour, a stunning multiple and a unique mint block, one of the most important items in South Africa philately, missing from some of the most important collections of Cape as it has been so rarely offered, ex Dale-Lichtenstein and Indusophon, cert.
