1946 album containing a most interesting correspondence between a collector and Harrison & Sons, with the collector claiming to have discovered the KGVI 1d printed on the yellow paper of the postage due issue, with the said stamp included in a block of four and single, then Harrison’s response after their meeting that it is a chemically treated stamp, and with further experiments by the collector to dye stamps or portions of stamps yellow.
