CHESS: 1923-1968 Extensive Specialised Thematic collection of Chess. This collection is based on the CHECKMATE catalogue and APPEARS TO BE ABSOLUTELY COMPLETE. The CHECKMATE catalogue specialises in the thematic cancellations, and this outstanding collection is housed in thirty-eight (38) large ring binders and is wonderfully presented and knowledgeably written up on hundreds of album pages, plus a five-frame exhibition mounted on eighty pages and showing both stamps, imperforates, proofs and cancellations, additionally four printed Ajedrez/Chess hingeless albums and two stockbooks with some interesting Chess related banknotes.
