1942, Censored airmail letter M.E.F. to South Africa franked Cairo printing 2 1/2d and 3d + Nairobi printing type A 5pi (2) postmarked ‘US ARMY POSTAL SERVICE APO 16.12.42’ and Asmara transit at back, opening tears at top, otherwise very fine and a great MEF/BMA rarity (especially foreign going), cert. Cardillo (Sassone approx € 20’000+).
