1d. dull vermilion, large to huge margins, light barred oval cancel, on merchant’s cover from Port Louis to France by the vessel « Salsette » (last voyage), via Suez, MAURITUS GPO despatch for MR 8 1860 on flap, most likely sent as printed matter, very fine.

An extremely rare usage with only 3 single frankings known (two printed matters and one soldier cover).
