1850s envelope front mailed from San Francisco to Milwaukee with pair imperf 1851 3c., touched margin at right, shipped to the pacific coast of Nicaragua, carried overland to the Atlantic coast and shipped to New York where stamps have been cancelled, centre shows a good strike of STMr SIERRA Nevada/ Via Nicaragua/ ADVANCE OF THE MAILS.
