Lot 81546 – 1899 Ningpo to England combination IPO cover

1899 (9 Oct) envelope to Chesterfield, England, franked coiling Dragons 1/2c (2), 1c (3) and 2c (2) tied by fine Ningpo bilingual cds, additionally franked Hong Kong 10c tied by Shanghai index c cds and by the rare small IPO handstamp, reverse with Shanghai transit (10 Oct) and arrival cds (NO 24), envelope a little roughly opened with some tears on reverse, some slight ageing, still a good example of this rare tie print of Ningpo.
