40 parale blue on white paper, a small four margins example on letter fragment cancelled by large part of the FRANCO ISMAIL handstamp in blue. A very rare cancellation, as according to Kiriac Dragomir only 1’032 such stamps were used at Ismail. Another 40 parale stamp on fragment with this cancellation was offered in the ‘Moldau’ 2013 sale, with the note: ‘In the 40 years that Fritz Heimbüchler collected and certified Romanian classics, this was the only example of this cancellation he found on a 40 parale’.
