1871 Unpaid letter from Manchester (Dec. 29, 1871/Jan 10, 1872) to Patras (Jan. 10/22, 1872), via Athens (Jan. 9/21, 1872). Taxed at the arrival at 115 lepta corresponding to the rate for an unpaid letter up to 15 grams according to the convention between Greece and Great Britain of Nov. 27/Dec. 7, 1868. The 5 & 10 lepta are from the consecutive Athens printings and the 20 & 80 from the « cleaned plates » printings. The 20 lepta has the « control numbers » error of the « 0 » inverted. All the stamps with good to large margins.
