Philatelic Foundation), 10c (Sc 2) on letter (cert. PF); Switzerland Zurich 1843 6r and Geneva 1845 5c on pieces, rayon II on letter; Brazil 1860 cover with block of four 60r, 430r singles and two on a letter fragment; Belgium 1850 10c pair (Mi1a) on attractive letter; Spain 1850 6c; good range 1850s Australian Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia (incl. 1855 1s (SG6a) on fragment; very good Italian states with many certificates, incl. Modena 1857 bearing 5c, 15c., and 1863 mixed franking Sardinia 5c imperf. and Italy 10c perforated (cert. Manzoni); also good Chile, Cape of Good Hope, India, Mexico, Norway 1 on cover, Natal 1857, 3d rose (SG 4); good Moldavia, Argentina, Venezuela 1860 (Sc 20a) bisect on cover (cert.), Japan 1871 dragon half sen x 12 on letter (stamps defective); good US locals, incl. 1844 Pomeroy’s Letter Express (5c) and Hale & Co. on folded letter; Newfoundland airmail, 1921-39, 1932, $1.50 surcharge sent to Toronto, scarce.
