1892-94 Specialised collection of « SPECIMEN » and « CANCELLED » overprints on three old-time album pages bought from the sale of the Sampson collection sold by Robson Lowe in the 1960s, with a duplicated range of type 9 Specimen overprints, « CANCELLED » on 1d, 2 1/2d (crease) and two 1s, the set in blocks or strips of four with « SPECIMEN » officially obliterated and 1/2d to 2 1/2d with Specimen type 13, fresh condition and mostly very fine.
