1800 (6.3) Folded entire from Dublin via London to the Cape of Good Hope, showing outstanding crisp and sharp large London IRELAND straight-line in red, struck in error, and an oval SHIP LETTER * LONDON * with crown applied alongside. Letter rated « 8 » combined and uprated to « 1/2 » making the letter rate of 8d and 6d ship rate, showpiece

This is the only recorded usage of an IRELAND handstamp to a foreign destination
