Single weight cover (part of the back lacking) from Leipzig to New York, bearing 1863 2gr (defective at top right) and 5gr pair, tied by « Leipzig/Dred:Bahnh. » octagonal ds, red Aachen exchange office ds indicating 23 cents credited to U.S., endorsed « via Cork or Queenstown per steamer » confirming the carriage by the Cunard « Cuba »; filing fold passing through one 5gr, a scarce usage.
