1898 (April 29) Cover to Baden Baden readdressed to Berlin, franked by 1892-98 20pf tied by « SHANGHAI/2-5 98 » cds, displaying various postmarks on reverse incl. large bilingual « NANKING » cds with ms. date (29.4), Shanghai Large Dollar dater (30.4), German transit and arrival cds’s, a possibly unique combination with this Nanking type which was used for receipt of registered mail only; signed Bothe.
