10s dull grey blue, mint vertical pair, bottom stamp superb nh mint and showing the very rare « OVERPRINT DOUBLE, ONE INVERTED » variety (Row 8, Stamp 3), fresh, very fine and an important showpiece (Hib. €2’430+), cert. MacDonnell (2021)Provenance: Parker (lot 539, left half)
Note: Twenty stamps are believed to have existed. One was sold in December 2015 (lot 2214 Cherrystone Auction of the Pednault collection) where it realized $8000
