1840 1d Black pl.3 IA, fine to huge margins (showing a small portion of the marginal inscription at left), tied to 1840 (Jul 10) wrapper from Stafford to Shrewsbury cancelled by crisp and upright Maltese Cross in distinctive blood red (see detailed Jackson cert.), with black despatch cds adjacent, very fine and attractive franking with this coloured MC, cert. Mike Jackson (2013).
