1840 1d Black pl.1b GD, good to very large margins, tied to 1840 (Sep 18) entire from Glasgow (Scotland) to Rothesay (Isle of Bute) by crisp red Maltese Cross unusually stuck at the top of the stamp leaving the Queen’s profile clear, reverse with GLasgow R. H. ds, a stunning example, cert. RPS (2010).
