1960 GANDHI Original artwork for stamps made by Mr Pradhan who worked at De La Rue, London office for Indian stamps. Even after end of British rule in India the Indian Security Press at Nasik regularly met with De La Rue officials for artist feedback and idea sharing. This artwork originated during those meetings and shows the fine line drawing of MAHATMA GANDHI no modern stamps used this version hence an artist sketch which is an ESSAY. The original archival artwork is signed by the artist and measures 196x248mm. A must for any India collector and a perfect exhibition showpiece. UNIQUE item.
