1d orange-vermilion on yellowish paper, earliest impression, pos.1 with sheet corner margin and very large margins on the other two sides, neatly cancelled by barred circle, superb impression and vivid colour, the finest known single of the rare earliest impression, unique in this condition and one of the most iconic items of the entire Post Paid issue; cert. BPA 1987) and RPS (1988) (S.G. £18’000 for a regular stamp).
