1828 (12.4) Folded letter sheet, rated « 1/6 » and showing the clear small red scroll WRONG DATE hs and overstruck by an inspector’s Crown also in red, very fine and very rarely found on complete covers, apparently only two such yet recorded, showpiece, an important postal history item for the connoisseur.

Note: One of the fraudulent practices used by a Member of Parliament was altering the date in order to send more letters on a particular day, and when detected by the Free Office, a WRONG DATE handstamp was applied.
