Lot 42140 – 1907 (Aug 9) 5c on 1/2d postal stationery card (H&G type AR-1b) sent from Alcazar to Tangier
Alcazar: 1907 (Aug 9) 5c on 1/2d postal stationery card (H&G type AR-1b) sent from Alcazar to Tangier, cancelled by a crisp strike of the very rare Alcazar cds with Tangier arrival at lower left, sent to Roque Lyons who was the former Postmaster in Tangier and then became a general merchant and stamp dealer, with commercial message in Spanish on reverse thanking him for the samples he sent, only five or six known covers/cards from Alcazar (some of those being philatelic).
