1862-63, 6d deep green on thicker paper, compound perf. 12×11½x11½x11, used example of rich colour, lightly cancelled by « 1 » numeral obliterator in black, trimmed from the sheet, a very fine example of this extremely rare stamp of which only four examples are recorded, all in used condition, making it one of the rarest stamps of the British West Indies; cert. BPA (2018) and RPS (1961), ex Marriot (sold for £4’370) (S.G. £7’500).
