1840 (May 7) 1d Mulready envelope, stereo A181, sent from London to Dublin, struck by a fine red Maltese Cross (adjacent to Britannia, against regulations) with very clear despatch cds in black and MY 8 40 arrival on the reverse along with a complete wax seal of the House of Commons library, some minor soiling, a fine and scarce second day May date usage (S.G. Spec. £2’200).
