1874 & 1896, two covers with one 1874 sent by Queen Victoria’s secretary Henry Ponsonby from Windsor to the Privy Council office in Whitehall with 1d red. pl107 tied by « 890 » duplex, complete black wax seal on reverse, and attractive hand illustrated envelope with two 1887 2 1/2d from Shortlands to Switzerland with reverse showing Swiss village scene with a steam train.
