1864-79 1d red SG pl.121 perf.14 on Dr. Perkins paper with « SPECIMEN » overprint, mint with large part o.g., small thin and trimmed perfs lower right. Very scarce; Cert. Wenvoe (2024) (S.G. Spec. G1w, £6500). Note: The Perkins « SPECIMEN » overprint is not listed in Gibbons or Huggins.
