1631-1850s, Small, finely presented collection on large pages showing the history of quarantine mail in Modena starting 1631 with printed document of quarantine instructions, 1722 printed Health Pass for a journey to Reggio and another for travel of goods, 1837 entire carried by hand from the governor of the Lazzaretto to the President of the local Health Authority in Brescello, 1855 group of black on pink Reggio Disinfection Labels on entires or documents showing types I, II or IV; seldom offered group of seven documents and five entires; ex Stewart Gardiner.
