1859 Parliamentary Free Frank with 10d Blue – Mowat Cover to ScotlandSmall neat envelope sent by Oliver Mowat (later Postmaster General, 1863–64) during a Parliament session in Toronto, bearing a red LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY / FEBRUARY 14, 1859 handstamp. Franked with 1852–57 10d blue on medium to thick wove paper, outer frameline just shaved at lower left otherwise clear to large margins, tied by Toronto Grid.
