1930-44 3d. blue block of eight (2×4), stamps 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 showing variety frame omitted, stamps 2, 7 and 8 with frame partially omitted, majority unmounted, three stamps with small gum disturbances of negligible significance given the importance of this unique exhibition showpiece, there being no other complete omissions recorded, and forms the basis of the SG catalogue listing; cert. BPA (2000); ex Professor J.J. Smith (S.G. £96’000+).
