Bhopal – Group of Six Classic Covers with Varied Frankings. A compact and attractive group of six classic Bhopal covers, all locally used, illustrating a range of rates and franking combinations. Included is a particularly interesting mixed franking cover, bearing ½ anna red imperforate (Type 12a) and ¼ anna black imperforate, used on a postal stationery envelope with King Edward VII ½ anna green, sent from Bhopal to Madura District. The usage is believed to be philatelic in nature, as noted on an accompanying RPSL certificate. A useful and instructive group, offering insight into Bhopal postal rates and usages. Condition generally fine.
