1948 Gandhi set of four with « SPECIMEN » overprints with the original Courvoisier presentation booklet in black velvet with gilt-edged pages where the stamps were hinged, which were produced by Courvoisier following the request of the Indian government and given to high ranking people. Less than ten of those booklets are still known and this in fine condition with the original cellophane around. The set with original gum and hinges. The highlight of any modern India and Gandhi collection. Réf catalogue: S.G. 305-308 var
