FOLTICHENI: 1863 (8.3) Registered entire from Folticheni to Jassy, bearing on front “RECIPISSE”, “FRANCO FOLTICHENI” and Folticheni 8/3 circular date stamp all in black, the reverse bears a Roman 9/3 transit cds and a Jassy 11/3/63 fancy “drapery” arrival ds, a very attractive example with no less than five hsNote: This letter, written in Hebrew, accompanied a shipment of Turkish goldcoins: “62 pieces of 1.5 Lira and some change, with the value of 2,029 Lei and 25 Parale at the prevailing rate”.
