BEKETU: 1861 (26.9) Folded cover addressed to the Prefect of the Dolj District, in Craiova, bearing bluish Cyrillic bilinear date stamp “BEKETU SEP 26” and on reverse a decorative bluish seal reading “PRINCIPATELE UNITE PUNCTU BECHETU, COMP.4 DIN BAT.1″ and depicting the emblem of the United Principalities in the middle” (UNITED PRINCIPALITIES POINT BECHETU, COMP.any4 of the 1th BATTALION) (Dragomir type PV53-1.5R; see pg.76-77; the boarder disinfection cachet belongs to type KR2 but it is not described by Dragomir; see M Iordache in “Filatelia” 7-8, 2004), rare combination of a bilinear Cyrillic date stamp and a border disinfection cachet
