1936 (Jun 27) Peru Olympic Committee printed envelope sent registered to the Peruvian delegation in the Olympic Village, reverse with special « BERLIN OLYMPISCHES DORF » Olympic Bell cds on arrival, vert. folds clear of stamp, very attractive and the only known example. Note: Peru’s whole Olympic team of 40 promptly withdrew from the Games in protest at FIFA’s decision to replay the Peru vs Austria after the Austrian team complained about the behaviour of the Peruvian players and spectators
