Gupta Empire, Huna kings, Srivikrama-Vikramadityah, c. early-6th century, AV dinar, 9.37 g. (21 mm). Obverse: ‘archer’ type, king with stacked, delicate curls, with wide cheeks , wasp waist, and stiff stance to front, wearing tailed tunic over pleated loin cloth, standing left, holding longbow in left hand, arrow in right, slender standard with Garuda with halo at left. Reverse: Lakshmi seated facing with legs folded flat on lotus seat, holding diadem and long-stemmed lotus left, tamgha to left, Brahmi legend to right srivikrama-, part dotted border around. Raven, SRV/group 1.
EF+, well-centered and well-struck, strong details all around, lustrous.
