Post Gupta, Bengal, Samatata region, imitative of Gupta coins, c. 575-625, AV dinar, 6.22 g. (21 mm). Obverse: representation of the archer type, king standing left, holding bow in left hand and arrow in right, standard to left, miniature horse in right field with Brahmi letter above. Reverse: stylized female or goddess standing right within an inner circle, crude unread legend in left field, dotted border around.
