Gupta Empire, Prakashaditya, c. 490-515, AV dinar, 9.39 g. (19 mm). Obverse: ‘horseman slaying lion’ type; king riding horse prancing right, bow slung across torso and holding sword and slaying lion leaping left, Brahmi ru below horse. Reverse: Lakshmi seated facing on lotus, holding diadem and long-stemmed lotus left, tamgha to left, Brahmi legend to right, Sri Prakashaditya.
About EF, with very well-defined features, lustre shows through.
