Kushanas, Vima Kadphises, c. 113-127 AD, AV dinar, 7.94 g (19 mm). Obverse: bust of the king facing right, wearing diadem and domed crown, emerging from the clouds, holding mace-scepter in right hand, flames emerging from left shoulder, tamgha in left field, corrupted Greek legend BACILEYC OOH MO KADFICHC (King Vima Kadphises) around. Reverse: Oesho (Shiva) standing front, head to left, holding trident in his right hand, deerskin draped over his left arm; in field to left, tamgha; in field to right, Buddhist symbol triratna, encircled by Karoshti legend.

A very rare bilingual coin from the Kushan emperor who first introduced gold coinage, showing the principal Kushan deity Shiva (identified as Oesho).
