1859 2 Gr. blue plate II, complete used reconstruction, with 23 positions present in duplicate copies. 123 used stamp in total. With all of the better retouches of this plate catalogued in Sassone, notably positions 45 and 83. Pos. 27-28 and 28-29 in attractive pairs. Generally full-margined examples, showing a few with sheet margins, some cut close. Mostly attractive stamps with fresh colours overall and most with dealers’ or experts’ signatures or handstamps, e.g. Diena. An impressive complete plate reconstruction in a very fine state of preservation (123).
