The Unrecorded Block of Seventeen

1859 2 Gr. plate I, porous paper (NA), bright blue (azzurro vivo), mint bottom left corner sheet marginal block of seventeen, showing full original brownish gum, with retouches on positions 71, 81, 82, 84, 91, 92, 94, some creasing as to be expected from such a large multiple, a wonderfully fresh block with vibrant colours.

An extremely rare and impressive multiple. Exhibition showpiece.
