1840 1d Black, Plate 8 (KA–LC) Block of Six on Fragment, Used


A very attractive and rare multiple from Plate 8, positions KA–LC, with clear to good margins (note LA cut into at lower left) and tied on a fragment by orange-red Maltese Cross cancellations. A horizontal crease on the bottom row is noted, typical for multiples of this size and era, but the block retains excellent visual appeal and display quality.


Particularly scarce for this plate, this multiple is highly desirable for the advanced collector.
