108 Parale blue on pink, good to large margins all around, unused with part original gum, some horizontal creasing, some thinning, good impression, and excellent fresh colour, an extremely rare unused classic of which only 20 have been recorded by Heimbüchler, superb appearance for this rarity. One of a handful examples of the first issue still showing parts of original gum. Michel 4; €38’000. Not illustrated in the Heimbüchler handbook, signed Roumet and Theodore Lemaire in manuscript. Cert. Calves and Scheller (2024).
