1839 (January 15th) Unpaid folded entire sent from Kilcock to Summerhill, Dublin and rated « 5 », on arrival the letter was put into the Dublin Penny Post and endorsed « Redirected at » with italic 2-line « Drumcondra / Penny Post », and endorsed « Mr. Richmond Ballack », plus a black circular « DUBLIN 1′ PENNY POST » hs alongside, very fine and scarce.

Note: In 1837 a circular type was introduced showing the « 1d » in the centre.
