1784 (January 27^th) Folded entire from London to Dublin rated « 6 », addressed to John Hatch who was M.P. for Swords in the Irish parliament and entitled to receive his letter free, so « 6 » was cancelled by « FREE/D » and a straight line Dublin Penny Post « F 2 M » (February 2nd Morning) hs was applied at the Penny Post office, when the post from London arrived too late for delivery by the General Post Letter Carriers, this letter was delivered by a Penny Post Letter Carrier and further charged « 1^d«  for inner city delivery, an attractive usage full of character.
