Lot 10567 – Mexico 50c +13c engraved on cover

Mexico 50c green (consignment #111, only 400 sent in consignment), fine to large margins, and 13c blue (consignment #104-1866), frameline just cut into, both engraved, tied on attractive cover to Zacatecas dated November 6, 1866 by « FRANCO / MEXICO » cds. Very fine and rare as Engraved stamps appeared at the very end of the issue so covers are very scarce, especially with the 50c stamp, let alone in a colorful combination.
