Mexico 50c green lithographed (consignment #43-1866), three good margins, just clipped at top, on front to Paris dated August 29, 1866, tied by « FRANCO / MEXICO » cds paying the double rate to Veracruz, Anglo-French accountancy mark « GB 1F 60c » (credit to UK) hs adjacent along with Calais cds and faint « 20 » for charge to recipient in décimes, front with tear at left .One of the very few Maximilian covers sent to Europe.
