Lot 10496 – Campeche 13c + 25c lithographed maritime bicolor cover

Campeche 13c blue and 25c buff (consignment #67-1866), and 25c orange lithographed (consignment #34), both well margined, tied by framed ds on maritime cover to Mexico City dated November 20, 1866, carried by steamer « Paris » to Veracruz and then by road to Mexico. The rate of 38c was valid but unusual. Very few covers have survived from this district.
