Envelope sent to Córdoba from Santiago, addressed to José Manuel Robles (born in Peru, son of a Spaniard who fought alongside San Martin in the struggle for independence and later followed Bolivia), charged at « 6 » reales for a letter over 1 ounce, with good strike of the italic « Chile » straight line hs in red (S.F.C. MPF41c). Some edge faults and ink corrosion. A rare mail to Argentina and an early usage of an envelope.
