Lot 10116 – 1843, 90r black, early impression, vertical pair, red « CORREIO GERAL DE CUIABA/18- » rimless cds

1843, 90r black, early impression, a delightful vertical pair originating from the base of the sheet, enormous margin at bottom, being even and wide on other sides, showing quite complete red strike of « CORREIO GERAL DE CUIABA/18- » rimless cds (Ayres 1139). Three 90r examples are recorded exhibiting this postmark, and consequently being unique in multiple; a visually impressive pair, very scarcely found with sheet margin. Cert. RPSL (1970).
