1876, 5 sen light green « girdle », vertical pair on double weight cover to Salem (United States), tied by intaglio ‘crossroads’ cancels (Nishino type YH76B), additionally tied by red « Yokohama Apr 26 Paid all » cds, struck in transit with « San Francisco May 20 » in purple. A very fine and scarce usage of a 5 sen pair in 1876 to the United States. Catalogue ref: 51
